Join the Post-Baccalaureate Studies program recruitment and advising team for a virtual information session on Thursday, March 18, 2021, from 12 – 1:00 p.m. During the event, members of the Post-Baccalaureate Studies team will discuss the opportunities that await you in this unique program, designed to help you accomplish your individual goals. This research assistant will become involved in multiple research projects and provide support for statistical analysis and manuscript preparation. All students are required to complete the following class: To ensure that students are able to employ skills and knowledge gained in the program within an applied, capstone setting, they are required to complete either the Seminar/Final Project or the Practicum in Environmental Sciences. In the event of openings for spring admission, the deadline is November 15 at midnight EST but priority consideration will be given to applications received by October 15. The student will demonstrate an understanding of fundamental concepts, issues, and policies in environmental sciences. The Post-Baccalaureate Certificate Program in the Department of Environmental Sciences is a broad-based, multidisciplinary curriculum for professionals, practitioners, citizens and students who wish to strengthen their knowledge of the environment. Post-Baccalaureate Certificate Programs are catered to people who have already completed a BSc and who wish to gain new skills in a specialized area for the purpose of advancing in their career or pursuing graduate studies. All students pursuing a concentration in Environmental Education and Interpretation must complete the following: 9 credit hours of electives approved by the EVS graduate program advisor.
